Can I get more medication for my pet?
Please give us 48 hours to refill medications, as all prescriptions must be authorized by the veterinarian prior to dispensing. Also please note that compounding pharmacies are needing a bit more time to make up the prescriptions. For compounded medications, give at least 5 business days for them to prepare it!
According to the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia, the veterinarian must have a current knowledge of the pet for which they are dispensing medication. Thus, your pet must be up to date on annual exams before we are free to provide refills or dispense any chronic prescription items, which includes some forms of flea control and deworming (but not all).
If it is after hours, feel free to utilize the medication refill form on this website: CLICK HERE
Please remember that even conditions that look the same as last time may not be. We may suggest you book an appointment to ensure you are getting exactly what your pet needs.
